get the feeling that when things are starting to pick up and WHAM! all of a sudden it ends and you are left to "mourn" or regret not thinking through stuffs before acting on them? or when you think your life has never been better and you somehow do somthing rather stupid to screw it all up?
that's life and its like a game. jsut when you think you're winning, someone creeps up from behind and spoils your game plan. its like a rollercoaster but with 1 difference. yes we all have our ups and downs but these ups and downs tend to stay with us for life and make us miserable. our brains ahve a tedency to keep reminding us about them whenever something liek a picture triggers thsoe memories which we never want to remember. and when it does, we cant stop but think about why things came to such a state.
some say it's fate while others say its human instinct to make rash decisions. but at the end of the day, we will never know if the decisions we made made our lives better or worse. who knows? maybe doing something else other than waht we are currently doing may make our lives even worse than it already is? myopic as we all are, we tend to think about what happens in the next few weeks or year rather than for the rest of our lives. we all love instant satisfaction. perhaps that is why we tend to be myopic in our choices.
someone once said to me that everyone had a purpose in life. maybe that's true. but till the day i find mine, i still think life isn't as great as what it should be.
