wad a day

haha... today had geotrail lo... overall came in 18th lah must emhasize 18/110... rgs got top.. lol.. so now pretty worn out.. my legs are killing me... i think today run more than 2.4 liao haha... ok so the day was like this...

in the morning went to nus.. kewl place... lol.. got our big big big $50 map of singapore and changedinto those shirts.. then went to the LT11 dere got briefed abt the rules of the geotrail by this lady who er... talked ratehr constipatedly.. before we cud embark on our race, we first had to solve a word search of some sort.. we managed to get it pretty fast with the help of our intelligence.. lol..

so we rushed out of the LT. but b4 tt, sihui had to make an unexpected malu move.. hahaha... she fell and everyone looked at her.. haha.. so our first clue...

Pardon me for this illustration... get wad it means??? haha... well.. it means... far east square water gate... literally a water gate dere... yea yea.. so we walked up and down chinatown looking like idiots... for like an hour b4 figuring that out.. wasted sia.. hahah... so we got eventually found the station and completed the task at this temple... cant remember the name.. so we completed it and went on with our next task... which was surprisingly simple to figure out... clifford pier..

so we ran to chinatown mrt then took a train down to raffles and walked from dere.. nothing much happened quite a smooth leg of the race.. dere we had another task.. haha... locate and find the bearings of jurong bird park and the zoo.. haha.. jurong bird park is so tiny.. haha... but kelvin eventually managed to find it.. the birds were sitting rite in front of me.. lol.. so we got our next clue... a pict of "limestone mountains in southern china" haha.. the first thing that came... XIAO GUILIN hahaha... home ground lol..

so we took a train back to the WEST and it was lunch break and all stations were closed.. so went to gombak the mac dere to eat ice cream and stuff.. after that we returned then had to trek up xiao guilin.. i din know we cud do that.. its i think relatively steeper than bukit timah hill.. lol.. at the top, we had to find our exact bearing.. HOW HOW HOW?? haha... ok so after finishing that, we got our next clue..

to jurong library.. haha... so we went down the hill and found ourselves at hillview.. haha.. i din know they were linked.. anyway, we took a bus to bukit batok then mrt down to jurong east.. .haha.. saw eileen and deborah on the way.. ran up the escalators... guards asked us to stop runnuing and shutup... but we stopped for a while and started running some time after =x... haha... played pictionary.. haha... we're fast.. then did a compre on a tsunami effects on the maldives article.. annie tan must sure be proud.. hahaha...

we got our nex clue... kampong glam... back to the EAST haha... we were sian out by then.. took train to bugis and walked/ran/jog to kampong glam.. task dere was simple.. cuz got the help of 2 hist students - alfian and kelvin.. haha.. so yea.. finished tt and had to complete our last leg...

BACK AT CHINATOWN!!!! haha.. chinatown was quite near.. so we were quite relieved.. took and bus and run/jog/walk dere.. we oni had an hour b4 the stations closed.. haha.. but no big deal lah.. haha... almost finsih liao.. haha.. went dere got did our task.. pace up and down rows of shophouses looking for building tt were once opium dens and cooies housing.. finally found them and ran to the Chinatown mrt again... on our way to toa payoh... YES!!! haha

when we reached toa payoh, saw two other teams.. one from bpghs and the other i dunno.. so we rushed out of the mrt and chionged towards the hdb hub... haha.. out ran both yea...*claps* lol... so the race ended here..

hmm.. went to macs... mr koh's treat.. thnks.. then changed into our sch u and went into auditorium... haha... i enjoy the seats.. so comforatbale.. the air con so cool.. haha.. watched some presentation on a thailand field study.. then the speeches by head of geog nus and dr lily neo i think.. haha.. bla bla bla.. finish speeches.. ok present prize.. RGS RGS RGS so many prizes..... haha... sian diao..

and the top prize came with rep singapore in hungary in aug.. sounds interessting.. but... haha... i prefer to stay local for the time being... although i wud not rule out the possibility of joining the amazing race.. haha... exciting.adreneline pumping action...then we went out... found out we the the 18th.. haha... ok lah... but better if it was in top 10 yeA??? then all went home from dere... and i am now sitting in my chair.. my eyes dry like dunno wad... haha..

hey gd news... swiss is in Band 2 for the schools ranking... BEST IN THE WEST yea???
ok then... too tired to blog anymore... tml still got band... hmm... dunno wad happening tml... hope nothing bad...
