darn those tests

long time since i last blogged. this entry will be about the stupid exams i took and my view of the english lang. have been busy studying. i am now left with my geog, history and chinese and i dun intend to study so hard for chinese. i mean wads the point right? haha. so yesterdae had this add maths test on binomial and matrices. then everyone was busy mugging before the test. includin me. was asking people to choose a number from 1 to 32 then i did the number of the question they chose in the tys... lame rite? but i ithink i was busier solving questions for other people. haha. everyone was like asking me how to do this and that and asking me to sit with them so tt they could copy. lolx. early know i dun be so smart =X. bhb. well, thats just me. anyway the test was damn easy. but a bit tedious for the binomial. had to expand so many terms. so sian. i started ver fast. completed the 1st question in record speed. only to realise i had a careless mistake after asking the rest =X haha.
so today had EL P1 and 2. P1 i wrote on "fame". at first i tot it was simple then after writing the first sentence i began to ask wad is fame? haha. even resorted to thinking that fame was a 2 syllable word ie. "fa-mE" haha. so wrote intro. then write the 1st para. about how fame brings wealth and gives one sence os importance all those stuff. then the examples i gave William Hung, Bill Gates, Singapore Idols, Justin Timberlake, Jay Chou.. haha. so fun right din know that compos can be so like that. so also worte about princess diana and how her fame brought her death. [paparazzi chase then car crash]. ended by saying there are more important things in life than fame and fame is just something materialistic.
MY ANALYSIS: ok compo just that disorganised and a bit repetitive. and din plan correctly cuz i had other points i wanted to put in such as, fame as country and i wanted to add in the rebecca loos thing tt happened with beckham. lol.
then came P2. the passage about coffee. all the questions was "in your own words, explain" i am now ver sick and tired of that phrase. then the vocab section was so WOW. i only knew 1 word and 2 others i guessed from the passage. the others i just eh. wrote crap? haha. but overall i think i will pass relatively well as comapred to mid year i hope. anyway, i will pass english. and english cant be taught.
i think that the fundamentals of english should be taught in pri sch then in sec school just practice since english cant be learnt [lily lim said so]. it is more of a skill. why bother have teachers teach? rather devote my time in school to something more useful. ok i gtg study geography. hope that everythnig comes out on china haha. russia is so boring. i dun intend to remember as much for russia. haha. till next time then.
